Gene D. Peterson is internationally recognised as one of America's leading choral conductors, educators and clinicians. For more than three decades he has inspired conductors, teachers and singers through university teaching, international festivals, honor choirs and educational tours. His ensembles have performed throughout North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, including Carnegie Hall, Chicago Symphony Hall, the Sydney Opera House and the Sistine Chapel. Dr. Peterson currently serves as Director of Performance Tours with Perform International, where his work includes international educational tours, festival leadership, professional consulting, guest appearances and conducting opportunities. His professional background includes leadership as Director of Choral and Vocal Studies and Professor of Music at California Baptist University, Director of Choral Studies at Bethel University, and Associate Director of Choral Activities at the University of Tennessee. He holds degrees from Chapman University and the University of Washington. Gene D.
